Top Teacher prizes are calculated using 1 point per dance, NOT per entry.
ALL entries count - including Scholarships & Multi-Dances.
Points are not reduced for Proficiency, Student-Student, or Uncontested Entries.
6, 9 & 10 Dance events count as 5 dances. Youth entries are reduced by 1/2.
All Teachers must be On Package to qualify for all Top Teacher prizes.
Entries that are credited or discounted are not eligible for Top Teacher prize money.
Pot of Gold
Awarded to all teachers who meet the minimum dance requirements.
200+ Dances: $15 per Dance
150 - 199 Dances: $12 per Dance
100 - 149 Dances: $10 per Dance
40 - 99 Dances: $6 per Dance
Overall Top Teacher Award
Awarded to the top 5 teachers.
1st Place: $1,750 - Minimum 100 Dances
2nd Place: $1,000 - Minimum 75 Dances
3rd Place: $500 - Minimum 50 Dances
2nd Place: $250 - Minimum 35 Dances
3rd Place: $100 - Minimum 20 Dances

We know that the number of couples who enter your scholarship is out of your control. That is why we award full prize money to all dancers entered in at least 4 rounds within a style. Single Dances, Multi-Dances & Scholarships all count!
Full prize money will also be awarded for all scholarship events with 4 or more couples.
Dancers must enter at least 2 rounds of Single Dances per Scholarship they wish to enter.
All students must be On Package to qualify for Overall Top Student Awards
Trophies shall be awarded to the Top Small, Medium, Large & Top Youth Studio.
